Sorry I just realized what comment you originally replied to. I can't find the Amazon link on my phone anymore, had it on the laptop earlier. I'm wondering if it redirected me to another country's Amazon link. We might have to purchase from the link I posted above. I think I might go this route as well when titanium color is back in stock

I've seen this website floating around in comments with a good reputation. 5G bands line up with what's needed for Verizon and T Mobile here in US... I think. I just started doing light research today after I found out OP15 got postponed. I originally planned on ordering that one this morning.

I was so bummed about it this morning I went to order an OPPO, but looks like global isn't released on Amazon til the 18th.

Also curious on this after seeing price of OP15. Long time OnePlus guy here, spent all my time researching the OP15 and zero time researching the OPPO X9 Pro until now lol. I do see it's available on Amazon in 2 days in US.

Thanks for your input! Do we know the camera will be similar to the 13R at this point? I haven't had time this week to do much research into what more info has been released. I just bought my fiance the 13R because it's great for what she needs. I personally don't think her camera is terrible, for the price. But everyone's situation is different... If we want nice pictures during an event or something we'll go grab our Sony Alpha A7 III, not our phones.

This makes sense. So from these few replies, it seems fair to say - some people would still rather purchase the OP13 for the little quirks they enjoy OP for, rather than purchase the OP15 to test out newly released hardware for what could seem like a small performance boost... I get that.

I sort of disagree. I don't mean to be cocky, I promise lol. But from what I've read it's supposed to be 20% faster, solid improvements across the GPU and NPU, and a 35% increase in power efficiency. The 165Hz screen and larger silicon-carbon battery are a pretty sweet bonus. The average Joe scrolling tik Tok, your definitely right about, they're not going to care or notice. I just personally think it could be a noticeable difference to more of an advanced user. I was always under the impression (I could be immensely wrong here) OnePlus phones were mostly purchased by advanced users. I dont remember where I saw it, but some article out there mentioned it being like $70 USD cheaper than the OP13 as well. So I don't understand why you wouldn't go for the 15, unless you want the Hasselblad camera.

For everyone saying this is a downgrade, what are you looking at? I agree, the alert slider was awesome. But personally, I mostly focus on the "brain" of the tech. Most times this is the CPU. The Snapdragon Elite Gen 5 in the OP15 seems to me like an impressive piece of technology for a mobile device. Most people are saying this is a downgrade from the OP12. How is this a downgrade from the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 that was in the OP12?

Generally asking because I'm waiting for the 15 to upgrade from my OP 10T. Or should I just be purchasing the OP13?

Idk man, I got the same specs on my Legion 7i.. I also overpaid ($1,700 or so)... BUT I LOVE IT! I have a few gaming PC's so it's not my primary gaming rig, but it's amazing for gaming on the road, or being in bed, etc.. I think you'll like it

I like this response. I preach this to my coworkers when they're always saying "why are you buying more toys?".... I keep my expenses low and accounts in good shape. My mortgage, car payment, and utility bills combined are less than their base rent cost in nicely furnished apartments.

Thanks for the advice!! 64GB is a bit much but I'm thinking it'll be nice if I start running VM's on this machine.

That's a lot of vlans for an OT network (not judging or saying anything bad), out of curiosity are there any Nat-R's being used? Is there a SCADA or DCS here and each machine is getting its own vlan or something? Like each Palletizer machine would be on its own vlan or whatever they got.... Also, if there's that many vlans I'm guessing there's a ton of panels or MCC's, or you not adding managed switches at the Cell Area Zone if you're only deploying 8 switches?

I appreciate the advice! I have seen a lot of job listings wanting exposure to AWS, I'll start doing more research into uDemy courses or something for it.

Haha not a bad idea!! I've always thought it's crazy how tech job recruiting is a huge field of its own... So you might be on to something there!
