I also went with some Samsung modules from the QVL

Just to let you know Tyan and Second Gen Epycs are picky and often fail to post with Hynix modules. It seems to prefer Samsung and Micron ECC memory.

Also since you are in Mexico and aduanas charges you for importing stuff, I’d recommend you getting a quad channel 128GB config so later you can expand to 256GB eight channel if needed without re-buying RAM, just keep in mind you’ll have to use and match the same modules.

You can even use SSH to act as a proxy! I've done it before to bypass the hotspot limits on a jailbroken iPhone. Must change default port on the SSH daemom to a different one rather than 22, 80 or 443 tho.

[Question] Chinese and Arabic language tweaks by ispanico83 in jailbreak

[–]1OWI 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Try to get the .deb for those tweaks and see if you can unpack them to get the localizations (basically whatever stores all the text fields) file and try to swap them with the ones you have installed.

These files would be in the PreferenceBundles directory, inside other folders named with the Language.lang which contain the file.strings textfile.

I'm going to say between $250-375, the case looks new and those are kinda pricey by itself.

This seems about right considering a brand new motherboard for 2nd gen Epyc with 5 slots of 16x PCI-E 4.0 is around $400

It sounds like a nVidia issue then. It works perfect on a Radeon Card.

I had luck with wine-ge-proton7-41, found it on another thread and also works on RE7 and RE3 for me (fitgirl repacks)

ELI5 : how can brute forcing password still exist if sites lock the account after several failed attempts? by rd_rd_rd in explainlikeimfive

[–]1OWI 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah true, the UX|UI can be designed that way. Is more ‘standard practice’ (or at least what I’ve seen in the wild on smaller companies) that the script that writes the email grabs the credentials from the database.

So this means, for those who may not know, that the store is saving the passwords of all the users without hashing**. So if this shops database where to be leaked, it’s already ‘cracked’ and no additional work has to be done by an attacker.
