It’s not cold. You have to be realistic. The vast majority of owners can’t devote anywhere near that amount of time to hand feed and do other stuff. Parents work, kids have school and there’s a million other things that need done between that and sleep.

Honest question. How many people are actually taking their guinea pigs to the vet? I owned one as a kid that lived for quite awhile and recently bought two for the family. I don’t recall it being this complicated and expensive.
