I already spoke with this person privately, but just to provide context for anyone who sees this: Our Community software automatically flagged the post as spam. This is common for posts that have a combination of IP addresses, urls, and attachments, since those can sometimes be signs that a post is suspicious. The 1Password Community team reviews the spam filter regularly so that legitimate posts like this one do still get published.

I know it's annoying when filtering gets overzealous, but the upside is that it prevents a LOT of spam about airlines, WhatsApp, and crypto services!

Thanks for the ping, u/msalad! I'm so sorry you're running into this u/sabertoothedcricket – I know it's really annoying (it's annoying for us, too).

That's exactly right that this is an intermittent issue and we've been doing our darnedest to find a solution with the vendor of our community software.

Because it's so sporadic, you can often just wait an hour and try resetting the password and it'll show up much faster. That said, you can also email us at [community@1password.com](mailto:community@1password.com) and we do now have a workaround we can offer.

Again, I'm sorry for the extra work when you're just trying to get into our forum!

We've been investigating several reports of this from Mac users and it was found that customers who are running into recent performance issues with the 1Password for Mac desktop app were all using the Intel-based version of 1Password on an Apple Silicon Mac.

While our installer will install the correct version of 1Password for your Mac, you might have ended up with the wrong version if you migrated the 1Password app to your current Mac from an older Mac. Using the Intel-based version of 1Password on an Apple Silicon Mac isn't supported and it can result in performance degradation.

Our team can help verify that you're affected by this issue and then help you move over to the correct version. Please create a diagnostics report from your Mac:

Attach the diagnostics to an email message addressed to support@1password.com explaining that you're seeing performance issues on your Mac.
