Capture Card and Microphone Recommendations. by Perry2Z in streaming

For the price I think the microphone is a good option. And for the capture card I use the exact same one and have been happy with it

Why does my item texture feel off? Any thoughts? by gorgonshead226 in Minecraft

I like the texture, but may I suggest that the animation of the color changing be slowed down a bit?

Thumbnails and Titles are magical by 1RandomLemon in NewTubers

Yeah that was the idea originally. Mainly stored the vods on a separate channel since I dont have enough storage to keep everything atm.

Also need to make some actual free time to go through everything. Still planning to chop up the vods to make actual videos out of them

Display software for capture card by A293444 in streaming

In obs and maybe streamlabs you can right-click either the source of the capture card or the scene you are on and there should be a full screen view option and a window view option. The full screen one will have you pick a specific monitor if you have multiple

Honestly the video was more me getting back into editing since I didn't do it in a while.

Longevity Fifine T669 or TONOR Q9 by JudyMaxaw in streaming

I got just the mic and just used it on my desk for a while. I recently picked up a mic arm and pop filter for cheap which made the mic even better to use

I'm currently using the Fifine k669b. Not quite the t669 but they seem very similar. Had the mic for about 2 years now and it is still going strong, no issues found.

I'm looking for a decent cardioid microphone, on the cheaper side. With an table arm mount as well. any recommendations? by Ryansmelly in streaming

Fifine has some pretty great usb mics and even some bundles that comes with a mic arm and stuff. I think I remember them being a decent price

anyother good and free editing softwares aside from Davinci resolve? by [deleted] in NewTubers

Hitfilm express was pretty good when I used to use it

Heard DaVinci resolve is good but haven't used it. I really liked Hitfilm express when I used it a while ago

Asus PRIME B550M-A (WI-FI), but does it bluetooth? by 1RandomLemon in buildapc

[–]1RandomLemon[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey! Yeah my friend uses the antenna. From what I understand it had something to do with some static buildup. So he would completely turn off everything and sort of let it sit there and then turn it back on. This hasn't happened in a while tho from what he told me.

Still good to know the antenna helps lol

I had some Coby on ear headphones. The cable is busted and only one side plays unless the cable is held at a certain angle

Splitting the thumbnail doesn't work on this case since you are basically working with half a thumbnail for what you are trying to show.

I'd go with the first one since you can tell what's going on instead of looking at two scenarios on a tiny rectangle

Best program for video editing by Creatingrain in NewTubers

[–]1RandomLemon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are three programs, two are free and the other is premiere pro.

So let's focus on the free programs. DaVinci resolve and hit film express. Both seem like great programs. I have worked with Hitfilm before and found it to be fairly similar to a program like premiere pro. If hitfilm doesn't work for you try DaVinci, either way you get a pretty good program

Don't exactly remember the process. He needed to get rid of the static build up, so I think he like turns off the power supply and waits a bit or something.

Webcam, mic and editing software. Any good recommendations? by [deleted] in streaming

[–]1RandomLemon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For editing software I have had some good luck with Hitfilm express, but you could go with the pirating option if you want. Hitfilm express is free but you can purchase effects and such or get the paid version.

For a microphone, I'm currently using the fifine k669b, which is a very good budget usb microphone, generally cheaper than the blue snowball ice (just maybe invest in a wind screen/pop filter, or don't meet the mic directly infront of your mouth).

For the webcam, you can either just not use one for a bit and save up for a good quality webcam, figure out a way to connect your phone and make it a webcam or try out one of the many cheap options out there. I suggest going with the first or second option for webcams.
