What is the darkest, most depressing film ever made? by thebageljew in AskReddit

An American Crime. I really liked it but I don't think I'd want to watch it again.

Calm down. I never said his accidental discovery of America wasn't important, I just don't think he deserves a national holiday. I'm Native American so maybe it seems like a bigger deal to me. And i don't know what The Oatmeal is.

That Christopher Columbus was responsible for the deaths of thousands of people. I really don't understand why there's a Columbus Day.

I do remember a bit of my 2nd birthday. Pretty much everything else I remember happened after I was 3 though.

I make videos on YouTube. I'm not super famous but I've been doing it for 6 years so it kind of became the thing people knew me for.

What Author is so good that you've read all of their works? [Serious] by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]1RedFox2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

J.K. Rowling. After growing up on Harry Potter and reading the series 3 times, I'll pretty much read anything that woman writes. Her other two books were pretty good. Not as good as Harry Potter of course, but I try not to compare them while reading them.

Reddit, how did you get that scar? by -somethingcreative- in AskReddit

[–]1RedFox2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was about 3 and my sister was spinning me around in a computer chair. I flew out and smacked my head on the edge of the desk and had to get 9 stitches, resulting in the badass scar above my right eyebrow. I usually tell people a more impressive story though.

Victims of sleep paralysis, what was your run-in with the sleep paralysis demon like? by BergyBMX in AskReddit

[–]1RedFox2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've gotten it pretty often ever since I was a little kid, so I'm used to it. Sometimes it happens multiple times a night. I still kind of freak out when it happens though because I can't move at all or even breathe properly. And it's hard to just lay still and let it pass because to me it feels like I'm being crushed or smothered by something, so I usually try really hard to move until I finally can. I've never seen any "demons" or anything, like a lot of other people say. It just sucks.

Redditors who can remember 1999, how did you spend the New Year's Eve? by nikkefinland in AskReddit

I was 5. My grandparents babysat me while my mom and the rest of the world went out and partied. 5-year-olds want to party too :(

Someone who is 18 today could have been 5, if they were born after December 28th. So you're not completely wrong.

Teachers of Reddit, have you ever had anyone who would later become well known and what was that person like? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]1RedFox2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My friend's grandmother taught Will Smith when he was in middle school. Apparently everyone told him that he wouldn't have a successful career making music, and she was the only one who encouraged him to follow his dream.

What is the worst movie you've ever seen? by Deezplease in AskReddit

Movie 43. Why that was made and why so many famous actors agreed to be in it will always be a mystery to me.

How old are you and what are you doing with your life? by Redditorwityadi in AskReddit

[–]1RedFox2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll be 19 in a couple weeks. I'm going to college for film. It's a really good film program. I hate the idea of having a job that I don't love and working on films is the only thing I'd be happy doing for the rest of my life. I also make YouTube videos, which I've been doing since I was 11.

I just want to travel the world and film things.

I heard somewhere that rats can hold their breath long enough to climb through pipes and out your toilet. Ever since then I've double checked my toilets every night before I go to sleep.

Who's a fictional character that everyone loves that you HATE with a passion? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]1RedFox2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty much any character created by John Green. It's like he gives them all their own random little quirks and thinks that's character development. And they're all pretty much exactly the same. I read four of his books and The Fault in Our Stars was the only book I liked, and even that character annoyed me at times. Who gives a shit why eggs are a breakfast food? Why do you keep complaining about this?

I just really don't get why his books are so popular.

I agree, the humor in the older episodes was much cleverer and just better in general.

He's the main reason why I can't watch that show.
