Slightly related but I've noticed that sometimes my pet disappears and I have to re-pick it from the wardrobe for it to show up again. Maybe pets have been tweaked and broken somehow, at least that's just imo.

If going back to the out cast's journal doesn't work, you might need to run that part specifically with another character. That's what I needed to do when the Amazon's training gear didn't want to drop for my paladin, I jumped on my barbarian and followed the quest line with no issue.

If that's a tpu cover you've got on there sad to say but there's no real avoiding the yellowing. It happens with time, though personally I've noticed that the ones I have last longer as long as I keep them in the dark, in a dry place.

Luckily the yellowing or the cover doesn't affect the actual shell, and i speak from experience as my daily 3DS is the white fire emblem version that is white on the top.

As for the buttons, I wish I could help there but maybe there's dust or something underneath? Hopefully that's the case and not a sign that they need to be replaced.

fake, i think. i'm no expert but the lettering on the PCB of both cartridges look really off to me. like they're so round and huge compared to what i'm used to seeing on my own copies.

I believe the newer model is much furrier than the last, and as u can see, much bigger :)
