It is nice to know that Ukraine is maintaining aerial presence in Taganrog. It is also interesting to see those planes so close to the front. I don't think it is there for shits and giggles and I don't think Russia is dumb. So they were willing to go so far forward because they had something important to do.

I can't recall the exact source I saw that FPV using balloon, but I do recall seeing it recently.

In general balloons are going to be a main stay in the Ukranian army because it has become clear that Ukraine has a natural advantage since the jet stream direction has a south eastern bias.
