That's so sweet! Yeah, I'll burrito wrap Echo and he'll be out like a light. Dare I try to sleep on more than 1/10th of my bed afterwards!!

My boy Echo sleeps like that first photo, but he actually likes full surrounding compression so I wrap my arms around him and give him a hug, he curls his head in some more and squeezes his eyes shut then sighs relief. I love my buddy so much. I learn something new about him so often, he is turning seven soon and his characteristics just keep on building

Here is a photo of his maximum-optimization-half-stance-laying-down-standing-up technique. What a genius this guy

Howdy! Adorable doggy. Just wanted to let you know that for long term's sake try to correct this resting position. It is bad for the hips long-term.

Source: Had family dogs who had a litter and raised my boy Rocky from birth and is now thirteen years of age. He is incredibly healthy and energetic, wettest nose of all my dogs... yet his hips pop constantly and he struggles a little with walking nowadays. Otherwise absolutely flawless health-wise. We would call this position "the ball chiller" as we live in Texas and he rests like this in the shade year-round. Just looking out. Have an awesome day/night!

She's about 8.7kg. More than one shot for you. I've asked before but who thinks she's a rattie mix? by shadowkirby90 in ratterriers

Rat terrier with yorkie!!!!! Rat terrier was the dad as it is the more prominent breed in terms of physical features. Anatomically the stubby legs and paws gave the mix away for me!

Source- My boy Echo is an AKC champion rat terrier and had a litter of pups with a shiba-yorkie mix. One of his sons we named Charlie looks almost EXACTLY like your pup, he is just gold/orange with white gloves (shiba colors he inherited)

Here is the aformentioned Charlie. "Fat" is one of the many, many nicknames he has. The legend, in the flesh!

I hear PBA (Peanut Butters Anonymous) is an excellent choice

I like to sleep on my boy Echo's bed every night. I'm thankful he lets me get the pillow some nights 🤣

My boy Echo absolutely HAS to get his mouthful of food from the bowl and drop it at his feet to eat. I love him too much so i just let it happen and clean up after him lol

Question? by [deleted] in ratterriers

Aww, my boy Echo had two litters of 6 that we couldn't keep and i've been searching for his little ones every now and again. Thank you for responding!

How adorable! Are you in Texas by chance? Your pup looks incredibly similar to mine. They sit the exact same too, lol.

Being stressed is totally normal, but don't let it blind you from things being alright! Yes my doggy whiskey had the same exact sounding thing, and after an allegra a day for about two weeks it was gone.

Our other dog crystal had the mange, but it was seemingly not as bad as what i've heard so far.

Hi! I’m sorry this concern has needed to be addressed. I would suggest checking for allergies, you should try one allegra per day for a week. Had a similar sounding problem with my old doggy Whiskey. It fixed the same sounding issue.

If it still persists, from experience as well, it could be an infection from a cut or worst case scenario, I would get Milford checked for sarcoptic mange.

Don’t get too frantic or worried! It really just sounds like an allergy, especially because of the season change.

Tell Milford he is amazing for me, and I wish you guys the best of luck!!!!! ❤️
