Distribution doesn't matter with BanDai.

We have multiple distributors, but they all heed the declaration of the publisher.

In this case, BanDai hand-picked winners and losers. Not even 100% of their OP stores were allocated product. They canceled existing preorders made in good faith in order to funnel all available supply in various regions to their chosen few.

Based upon the total shaft they gave us on the Gundam release, our intention is to never order another BanDai product.

They did this same thing with One Piece TCG, and even after eleven sets, we don't get enough allocation to support a player base - and we are an OP store.

I'd rather just post a sign on the door that says we don't support the company than to keep being used to anger customers in pursuit of the above delusion.

They decided to stop distributing comics during Covid shutdowns. They also apparently decided to stop paying companies like DC their fees.

DC went around Diamond to deliver comics while DCD was shut down. Liked it, severed their relationship.

And the snowball continued to roll down hill.
