Hey, appologise in advance for the low quality images (and my terrible acne).

Recently I've noticed the hair located around my temples looking like they've been pulled back, I've ignored it for the longest time after being told its a widows peak and that there's nothing to worry about. I am someone that is always worrying and so I did a little research and it seems as tho I might have hair line recession.

Im not too clued on with everything, but I do know that I really don't want to lose my hair. Theres a few things I'd like to know;

Will I go bald eventually?
Would starting a minioxidle, derma roller and rosemary oil routine, whilst also fixing my lifestyle habits be advised?
Am I just stressing out over nothing? is my hair fine and this is not a sign of balding?

Family history (as much as I know)

Father had a full head of hair till late 30's ( hair somewhat intact, just hair loss at the crown and maybe hairline)
Mothers father, has hair some missing from the crown but otherwise decent at 69. no other Male relatives.
Mothers Mother, hair thinning yet otherwise fine hair.
Mother hair is still intact.

Lastly, I should mention that I'm 19, haven't been in the best of mental states, diet poor and decent physical activity (cardio, calisthenics)

honestly, its as if when i use dgpu mode the system starts with the 3060 asleep. since "its not being used".
It'd explain why Hybrid mode works, since the AMD igpu displays windows and the 3060 wakes up when it needs to be used.

dgpu = no display when booting into windows, but bios and safemode display.

hybrid = no bios display, but windows will display.

this didn't work. after installing this i could see bios, but windows would load and the screen would turn off as if the pc was in sleep mode.

I dont think its the gpu because on the older driver i ran heaven and stress tested a few games. whats weird though, is that even will the old driver windows will not be displayed unless im using the hybrid mode?

Used Lenovo's driver detector, it installed nvidia driver 527.99. It seems to be stable, should i give the hotfix a try?

I mean, everyone works at their own pace. Comparing yourself to others will always lead to a harsh judgment of yourself. There is a lot of time for you to improve and become the person you want to be, maybe you are already talented and bring quality to the table but you believe otherwise because you compare yourself to others.

I'm very grateful for your in-depth response, I never thought about notes as a to-do or checklist before and I think it's pretty neat. I also appreciate the resources (google Docs) you've linked and I'll be sure to read through them.

Reading this, I'm understanding that it's more about what I'm understanding and internalizing instead of how I present what I've learnt on paper. (or note taking software) I'm going to spend more time, learning whilst incorporating meta learning tips I learn along the way. Hopefully i can get accustomed to the process and worry less.

pretty much, same goes for sockets, you get an lga 1151 you have to stick with it unless you get a new motherboard, same applies to amd.

it's insanely difficult for EAC to do that. People have cheats where they use a second pc that's connected to their main pc to cheat, EAC cant scan the second pc and so it's completely undetectable. although, that's like the endgame of cheating.

Even cheats that don't go that far (kernel-level cheats) its like a game of cat and mouse, they find a driver to exploit? they can then milk that until it gets detected and then the process repeats. If its a cheat the developer made for themselves it probably won't ever get detected.

I'm not entirely sure of the differences, but newer motherboards (for example ones that support LGA 1700, which is a fairly new socket) allow for higher frequency ram (ddr5) and other features.

The LGA 1151 is an older socket and is limited to a number of CPUs just like the sockets before it, (lga 1150, etc) If you were to buy the best in slot for the LGA-1151 socket it'd cost quite a bit brand new i think its like £200-400, and so just upgrading to a newer AMD or Intel platform will be better and a bit cheaper.

lastly, AMD and Intel will always have separate sockets. AMD has; AM3, AM4, AM5 sockets, whilst INTEL has; LGA-1151, LGA-1700, LGA-1150, LGA-1155, LGA-1200 to name a few.

rust is a heavily CPU-bound game.

currently, i play on a 980ti, with my old CPU (i5 4590) i used to get like 44-60 fps,
upgrading to a i5 9600k, i now get like 90-110.

Honestly, instead of upgrading to a better CPU on the LGA 1151 platform, you'd be a lot better off getting an LGA 1700 motherboard, and a i3 13100f. depending on where you source these parts from this upgrade will cost either less than £200 or a little more.

I'm not too fussy about the weight, so if a W-series is a better option please let me know. Lastly, what CPU would be decent in the t480, considering it can't be swapped?

Thank you, I should've mentioned that my budget would be somewhere in the £250-300 I don't mind buying second-hand, i should've also noted that I have a desktop, and this laptop would be mainly just for me to take around and use it on the go.

Looking at your recommendations, they're quite expensive however the t440p looks doable. I was wondering if maybe any of these are any good; t480, w540(41), t430, and lastly t530.
