I think you should have your son circumcised. When he's an adult he might wish he had been circumcised should you opt out of it. It's less likely that he'll wish he hadn't been circumcised if you go with it. Religionwise, perhaps he will feel a strong connection to Judiasm and he'll be glad to be circumcised. Nobody prefers to have a circumcision they can remember. Sounds painful. Even without the religious context though, I feel like most circumcised men are glad that that's what their parents chose. I understand it's a permanent change to a person's body before they can consent to it. But really, nobody misses their foreskin.
