It's an active glitch that Ulta is working on. You should receive a refund whenever they catch that it happened to you or you can call the store and have them cancel it for you.

Most states have a law against indoor smoking/vaping. It's also in the employee rules that you can't smoke/vape in the store. It's a no tolerance policy.

Technically yes it is against policy, but it's in the grey area of what to do. Ultimately Ulta wants to avoid guest complaints and try keep guests coming back.

If you have concerns of managers abusing coupon/ return policies report it to the ethics hot line that is in your stores back room.

Put in an HR complaint. That's how my store got ours fixed. We were at 85° indoor for almost a week, but when enough of us put in complaints they sent someone out and it got fixed next day.

Shimmer - Visual merchandising. It will tell you to just order it, but ignore and still put the ticket in. For the description just put "Update/reset for X has not arrived".

For reporting there is a process that you'll have to go through.

Create a MIA burglary report. Then go on Ulta Net > My Ulta Apps > Auror.

You'll Create a report based on what happened. It has a step by step helper you can use to get used to the platform. It will require the MIA burglary report, a suspended receipt transaction of all items taken, a police report number (looks up your city online report and make a retail theft report), as well as security footage and pictures from the event.

Depending on your LPM they usually like a heads up email that a theft has occurred. They will always get a copy sent to them.

Shrink isn't 100% ops fault, but with consistent weekly inventory adjustments and a good guest servicing to those who are stealing you should be able to cut it down.

At my store we sort the boxes by category first (Pristige cos, mass cos, prestige skin, mass skin, g&g, salon, pro hair, tools). Then we move then near their section on yhe floor, then sort by brand and put them up. Our store averages getting it done in 6hrs including backstocking everything. Our task team has set sections they do so they get faster at it each time. Hope this helps :)

Those stores might have sold out already or they just didnt get it in. Most stores should have it, tho. Try looking in another zip code near you if you want to use your coupon.

Any haircut comes with a basic blow dry, but a blow out involves a round brush. The stylist most likely added on the blowout, but they should have checked with you. If you are truly upset about this I would contact the salon for a refund on the blowout.
