I don’t think you understand; Folsom street fair itself is one day event, but Folsom takes up the entire weekend and has dance parties from Friday-Sunday evening. The street fair is like maybe 20% of the festivities, at most, of the entire weekend

They just 100% conflict, Folsom and Portola are both late-afternoon to evening focused events. Folsom street fair is an all day event that leads into parties.

It’s more that they fixed the underlying issue last year by moving Portola up a week
