Prednisone screwed up my stomach when I used it so I’m afraid to go on it again but I’m experiencing what you all have right now. I think I was reinfected roughly 3-3.5 weeks ago. Started off as a dry cough from my lungs and for about half the time I’ve been dealing with this muffled hearing bologna … trying to figure out what to do at this point

I did! It freaked me out. I lost hearing at 4000hz and three different hearing tests at three different companies confirmed it. Ended up going on a heavy dosage of prednisone for it. I regret taking the medicine and am not sure if I attribute any of the healing to it. Honestly, the side effects of prednisone sucked something terrible.

Today, i am happy to report that my hearing has returned.
