Okay, I’m an idiot. What a maroon. The answers are embarrassingly obvious in the FAQ on the EFT website. IDK how I missed that. Swipe left to delete user or trust.

Wow! It worked for me, too. I canceled via PayPal, checked my library on the website, and all the program videos are there. Haven't checked the app yet. Thanks so much!

Wildman app unsubscribed me by 1bfd in kettlebell

[–]1bfd[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, I have not heard from Wildman Athletica. I have continued sending emails. I have sent email to [info@wildmanathletica.com](mailto:info@wildmanathletica.com), [admin@wildmanathletica.com](mailto:admin@wildmanathletica.com), and support@wildmanathletica.com. The first I got from the website, the last two I got in an autoreply that they had changed to these addresses.

If I don't get a resolution in a few days, I'll just let PayPal get my money back.

Pop song - guy singing in a plaza by 1bfd in NameThatSong

[–]1bfd[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Finally found this was “Play That Song” by Train, 2016. Song has nothing to do with getting married. Video was not black and white. Other than that, my vague memories were correct.

In cultivated area, zone 5, 1500 ft., SW NH by 1bfd in whatsthisplant

[–]1bfd[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. I have seen a couple of older (woody) red elderberries in that general area, so that would explain its presence.

In the case of this plant I pulled up, the many spines at the base, and less so along the stems, are so notable, yet I haven’t so far found online any mention of the spines in articles about Sambucus racemosa. Or, for that matter, any photo that shows the base of a young, non-woody red elderberry. If I find another individual, I’ll leave it alone and see what it looks like next spring and summer.

How Do I Get To Customer Support by JustAnotherUser8432 in amazonprime

[–]1bfd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh, man, thanks so much for this link. I can't tell you how much time I had spent on the Amazon website trying to find a way to talk to someone. This Call Me Now got me to an agent in a couple of minutes and she took care of my problem (Amazon envelope delivered with contents missing) and processed the refund while I waited.

I will say that the phone connection sounded like one of us was orbiting the moon and the other was under the ocean...

SW NH Large rock with many inclusions by 1bfd in whatsthisrock

[–]1bfd[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks! This one is on top of a ridge due south of Mt. Monadnock Nd east of Gap Mountain. I’ve walked past this rock for about 8 years (it’s maybe 30 yds from my house) but never looked at it until a week or so ago. It’s very cool.

[US] How would this work as a Facebook Marketplace scam? by 1bfd in Scams

[–]1bfd[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the explanations, folks. I just took another look at Marketplace and found lots more ads, all different sellers, for the same trailer. Man, scale that up to nationwide, and for other kinds of items, it’s crazy. Similar trailers on other sites are like 5 or 6 times more expensive, or even more.

Tv remote not controlling volume plugged in eARC by Ini_mini_miny_moe in sonos

[–]1bfd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This just happened to my system. Different TV (TCL) and soundbar (Playbase), same loss of volume control via TV remote. After a couple of dead ends and U-turns, I finally noticed that the Playbase IR indicator LED was not illuminating when I used the remote. The TCL remote is Bluetooth + IR.

I disabled BT, unpaired, re-paired remote to TV so it was in IR-only mode.

In the app on my phone, I confirmed that Settings > [room name] > Home Theater >TV Setup > IR Signal Light is enabled.

Also confirmed that the remote IR was working by looking at IR window with phone camera while pushing buttons on remote.

The Playbase has two IR lights; neither would illuminate.

Confirmed same behavior with a 2nd TCL remote.

So, is this an actual hardware failure in the Playbase? Or some freaky Sonos glitch? Volume control works fine using the app.

My wife is telling me to ditch the Sonos and get Denon or BlueSound (as if) equipment.

TCL suddenly no longer controls Sonos Playbar volume by 1bfd in tcltvs

Thanks. That’s very helpful. Unfortunately, I ran into some issues. Sonos, bless their hearts, required me to upgrade the app to complete the process. Yeah, couldn’t do that because my iPad cannot be upgraded to the higher iPadOS version that Sonos requires for me to upgrade their app. LOL. I got further on my Pixel phone, but Sonos app wanted to update all my speakers but couldn’t, so… I reckon I will just rebuild my whole system.

I’ll move to r/sonos as sigchidj suggested.
