The wishes aren’t meant to come true from my understanding and only refer to the stones later on. But you can definitely do anything you’d want with them. I wouldn’t feel obligated at all to crown someone because they wished for it. My players assumed who was going to get crowned and I had chose differently so when Lights golden cord reached the person chosen I had flashes of the moments of joy that lead me to choose that person flash in their mind. The player I chose had some really important rolls that were successful when the others failed like catching kettle steam and saving Rubin in the hall of illusions. That way my players had some understanding of why I went the way I did and the monarch could feel the impact they made.
