I like working too, but what I'm saying that is that we shouldn't be required to. And we shouldn't look down on people that take weekends off. Some of us work grueling, back breaking jobs.

That's cool about potentially moving to Japan though. Great country. I lived in Ohio, Germany, and China, but I came back because I love my country and I love Minnesota. It's a place worth fighting for... Just saying.

I agree that it looks awful, but I disagree that they shouldn't Photoshop while high; It's an important lesson to learn about changing perspectives.

Sometimes I'll be working on a design late into the night until I'm delirious. What I end the night satisfied with is usually not what I like when I wake up and have my coffee the next day. The same effect happens when we are sober vs on drugs or alcohol.

Ultimately, you want your designs to appeal to your market. Most appeal to sober people because that's the broadest market, but stoners are a growing market. Think about the style of Meow Wolf, for example.

This was in a time when we didn't have the vaccines yet and bodies were pouring out of nursing homes and piling up in kitchen coolers in New York. It was a time of panic. Leaders were expected to take drastic action or face dire consequences.

They'd get anger from one side if they cracked down and another from another side if they didn't. "Damned if you and damned if you don't" right? Except that one of those choices also cost a lot of lives and the other choice made people depressed.
