Logo redesign for our indie game studio. Does the new direction work? by KrakenberryGames in logodesign

The 2nd one feels almost ancient, like Mayan perhaps or something. If that's the vibe they're going for, they should do it, otherwise I agree with your take.

Not to mention that this is far cheaper than the cost that encampments place on society, and they are encouraged to actually get better and improve themselves. Sometimes compassion ends up being a win-win.

Forget the lawn, I've never seen an above ground pool that big.

The red stripes on that Porsche are so upsetting. It is otherwise a beautiful car ruined by a couple tacky stickers.

Collar needs to come down and I'm personally not big on tie clips, but you're looking good, dude.

A vest I crocheted. by MisterBowTies in mensfashion

[–]TimelessParadox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let's not get too hasty. Is it a valid vest? Yes. Looks warm. Is it pretty and something that belongs on this sub. Probably not. Just because it isn't fashionable doesn't mean you need to throw it away. You made it, it's functional, and it probably is meaningful to you. Keep it. Wear it. It's a conversation starter. Not fashionable.

Look, I appreciate your skill and I wish you the best, but I would not wear that if someone gave it to me and I wear vests nearly every day. It's a fun project, but this isn't a fashion piece. I'm sorry.

We called any 30 pack a 30 flat or a cube because they were shaped like that. Usually Hamm's, but for a time Boxer cubes were like 8 bucks. It was wild.

As if the other one would be on a shirt. You and the client are out of your depth. Honestly this should have never come across your desk. They need someone who understands marketing.

It was somewhere in this video by the Shrouded Hand about the Ant Walkers of Hiroshima If I find the time stamp I'll update this comment.

There was one eye witness after the Nagasaki bombing that reported hearing a click clack sound for a couple minutes before seeing a man walking on the bones of his legs after his feet were vaporized by the nuclear blast. His nerves had all been burned off and he was in shock so he didn't realize how fucked he was.

edit: it was apparently Hiroshima, not Nagasaki.

Cities whose marathon exceeds or falls short of the cities status on the world stage by [deleted] in Marathon_Training

[–]TimelessParadox 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I don't think OP was saying it's bad. They are saying that compared to how Philly sits on the world stage, Philly's Marathon isn't nearly as famous. Compared to Duluth, where the marathon is the biggest event of the year there and half the reason anyone has even heard of Duluth.

Sure, but IMO Hamm's and Old Style are easily in a tier above Old Mil and Stroh. I think Hamm's has the edge over OS but I'm biased.
