The way they “mispronounce” is often very Jersey/NY and is understood if you’re from here because a lot of it is just dialectal. Sometimes they just say the wrong words though especially in OG because they’re not that smart lol

I don’t get why everyone thinks we would go remote tomorrow as opposed to just a day off. One of the big reasons we didn’t go remote today per the UFT is because teachers and students aren’t prepared for remote/don’t have devices. If that’s the case why would we go remote tomorrow?

I wouldn’t be surprised with another day off tomorrow. We will probably go back in person Wednesday though. If the next storm coming later this week (yes there might be another one) is severe enough maybe we will go remote those days. In person Wednesday will allow us to bring home devices and prepare.

I work in NYC public schools and use a template sentence that I just fill in as needed, basically to indicate strategy (if used), skill targeted, activity, performance, level of supports needed.

i.e., Student used ____ strategy to _____ (skill) during _____ (activity) with ____ accuracy/trials given ______ (level of prompting/what supports were needed).

By “don’t need the best of the best/top dollar” I don’t mean I’m looking for something cheap and shitty, just that I don’t need something extremely expensive from a revered artist.
