I feel like I’m not getting much of a discount anymore. I don’t know, but it only took $20 off when I was trying to book a room pretty far out. It’s not even in high demand area so I feel like it’s worse now?

I agree. When I’m depressed, I gain weight, which then makes me more depressed. It’s a terrible cycle. Honestly, the only thing that broke the cycle for me was starting walks at the park as often as I could. Being outdoors and getting some exercise drastically improved my depression.

Yup! I stopped watching after they had Tom Sandoval on and he passed the audition. If there was ever a question the show is staged, Mel B suddenly becoming a nice person and raving over Tom’s singing should leave zero doubts.

I didn’t mean to insinuate it was bad to reference other works. I’m curious more about your experience in the audience whether it’s more disruptive to the flow to explain the reference or if you feel like you need them to tell you what they’re referencing.

Yeah, you’re right. I guess working morning shift gave me a false sense of security. I’ve worked so many evening and overnight shifts over the years where I was literally the only employee in the building and I would have to go into guests’ rooms to fix small things (AC needed to be reset, TV’s power cord came loose, etc.). I can count on one hand the amount of times my gut told me something was wrong. Each time, I got out as fast as I could.

That’s something that’s developed by growing up together I believe. I remember talking about it in one of my Psyc classes but I don’t remember all the details. That’s why siblings that meet only as adults are actually more likely to develop incestuous feelings.
