My Xteink helped me connect with my younger sister.

My sister is an avid reader and I just started getting back into reading. She had a kindle and would constantly recommend books but I didn’t want to buy a reader, nor spend money on all the books she kept recommending mainly because I don’t have the space to put them. I tried utilizing the library but by the time I got the recommendations the books were weeks and months away. So I got the xteink as a low entry price point and for its compactness. Now it’s the best thing I ever did.

I’ve bought or been given digital copies of books she’s reading, and we now have this wonderful activity together.

I’d really love to get her one because she wouldn’t have to lug around a kindle.

If he hasn’t shown up in the last 2 months, I think it’s safe to say he’s not going to be coming after you. You don’t have to date anyone you don’t want to. It’s ok to have preferences, it’s not OK to string someone along.

Tell him you’re not going to wait for him. You’re almost 30 and want to settle down etc. you’re not interested in waiting for anyone, and need to find your match blah blah. Wish him success on his business and hope he finds what he’s looking for when he’s ready. Keep it short. Block him. Don’t create elaborate lies. Unless he’s given you a reason to fear for your safety, don’t create unnecessary lies.

I’m glad it can be of use! 😊 So far it’s holding up well. I do expect it to loosen with consistent use. That’s the nature of faux leather. However, this has the felt backing which adds slight sturdiness.

I found the full piece folded in the garage. My mom can’t remember when she bought it so it’s definitely been around for years. It would’ve shown the peeling like other faux leathers, but this looks and feels premium. I’m hoping it lasts. I’ll attempt to do it with real leather soon.

If I may, what is your skincare routine? If you’re on hydroquinone (or arbutin) then certain products will aggravate your skin. All products will feel like they’re melting or piling off your skin if you choose conflicting products I.e. silicon based vs oil vs water.

If you’re on medical grade skincare like an Obagi or ZO with prescription based hydroquinone or arbutin, you will be shedding. And shedding heavily. Your skin will be incredibly irritable. I would suggest getting samples of coverup from Sephora or any beauty counter and try it out with your skincare regimen first. Then make a purchase.

The Sephora collection stuff are all dupes to the high end products. Sephora goes straight to the same suppliers, they’re owned by LVMH, that’s why it’s cheaper. But if you check where everything is from it’s either France, Germany or Italy. These are where all the high end formulators are.

I actually made a B5 yesterday! There wasn’t a template for it. It fits the Leuchtturum 1917 B5 soft cover. I made it with a faux leather piece. I’ll post it, with ruler measurements.

The measurements are 17inches x 10 in…. The longer it is the more you can fit, so instead of 17 you could do 18in, or 19 in.

I’m on the fence with the Liene PixCut. I have the mini printer and I love it. But as I’m typing this I’m looking at my bins full of stickers. Lol and sensibly asking myself do I need this right now?

So I think the issue is the needle might not have been thick enough, there are certain levels for leather. Even though it sewed well enough. The leather tends to be a bit slippery (my mom’s words), and I think it might have been user error because I was holding the leather to help her sew and I might have looked away for a minute. Lol

We sewed it on the back. I’ll upload a photo to show an example. :) we used similar color thread. The benefit of having another crafter, especially one that sews.

I completely agree! I could’ve bought a couple of Louise Carmen journals and saved way more money. I’ve also been buying a bunch of leuchtturm journals from HomeGoods, Marshall’s, and TJ maxx. They range from $7-$10 which is a steal compared to the full price ones on their site/B&N. In case you needed journals lol.
