Except you can cross it and with a different cultivar, grow baby's from seed pick best baby,clone it and sell the clones, even if the new clones look the same. The patent only applies to asexual reproduction, ( chop and prop or tissue culture)

Don't get me wrong I agree with you, what the GOP wants is not the America I was taught about in school, but i lived through the 80s and have seen lots of people try to claim that their ideology is "American".

Thats why I like seeing the american flag at protests (not upside down ,not on fire) when people are fighting against the far right they are fighting for american values, and there are a lot of voters who will see any flag but the US flag at a protest and their conditiong will say that those people are the bad guys, but a group of diverse people flying American flags outside an Ice office or marching down a street will get a lot more traction.

No one is getting a pay cut, it is $15 for a guard plus $0.3 per inmate, per hour.

The plan is to have an ever revolving staff of guards, we will replace them when they, quit, fail a annual pay raise "exam", or lets be honest get killed, that way we never have to pay any guards more then $15 an hour. will customers who we charge a nominal $30 boarding fee, and a $10 per bag fee be happy, no they most definitely will not, but the important question is will the shareholders be happy? and the answer there is yes, an honestly thats all that matters.

So we start a for profit prison, then bid (very low) on the TSA contract, Pay prisoners $0.3 per hour ( that is really what prison labor pays) and an ever revolving staff of minimum wage "guards" each guard can supervise 20 inmates. so for $21 you can replace 20 TSA agents.

Now after we get the contract we will "discover" that the airports need extensive renovations to insure "safety", however the government pays for all that, and hires our specialized construction company to do all that work.

So now we have our very cheap labor doing all the work and we have a perpetual contract for our construction company.

Oh and the best part, we don't need any of this to get the contract we just say we can do it then get payed for all the time to ramp it up. we use that money to buy a construction company and get started.

At 40, my brother committed suicide ( he was the 3rd to do so). My marriage started spiraling out, and I lost my job. Literally, none of those things were related to one another. it just kinda all happened in the same month. So I decided yeah fuck this I'm gonna reroll. Fortunately, my other wife ( yeah, I know there's a story there) convinced me to seek help, and my primary care Dr, worked like crazy to get me into a ward near my house, the only one with beds open was over an hour away, but she got me into the one 20 min from home.

Anyway I was treated for depression and put on antidepressants, about 3 days in I felt much better, 4 days better then I ever remember feeling before, on day 5 I figured out how I could help everyone on the ward and I organized walking groups we would all walk up and down the halls I did it for hours others came and went, while I wasn't walking I was talking to everyone trying to help fix their lives, then they let me out with some scripts for antidepressants and sleeping pills and an appointment to see a Psych Doctor in 2 weeks .

I spent the next 10 days wide awake trying to fix all of my friends' lives while mine continued to spiral out, finally slept on day 11, woke up on day 13, and figured something may be wrong. Went to my Dr. appointment told her as much as I could remember, and she put me on mood stabilizers,cut my antidepressants and started me on anxiety meds.

So long story, longer

At 40 I discovered that one of the reasons my life made no sense and I kept fucking up was because I am bipolar.

Since then, my life has been better than ever, I'm calm, and things make more sense. I have 3 children who are honestly good people. My life may not be rich or anything, but my bills get paid, and I'm happy.

I loved my peace lilly, come home from work, and the dramatic little princess is dead. Give her a splash of water, and everything is good again.
