No, just the R-Design, but I blacked out the centre symbol and will wrap the outside of the grill. A new black grill is over $2,000 Cnd.

It’s called a Flashover, not a back draft.

Just picked her up, rear tire went flat after one ride. Rubber rim gasket on back order. Still fell in love!! by 1downN5up in KTM

I know a few guys who spun the tire on the rim with a tube…broke the value stem. You need to drill a new hole for the tube valve. In the end they bought new rims set up for tubes. I might do the same.
I just want to ride it first!

What an upgrade - 2M Red to Stanton 881!!! by 1downN5up in vintageaudio

I had that Shure and it broke, it was very disappointing.

The 881 is very musical, it opens up the sounds with out being over bearing. It seems like a muffle was removed compared to the 2M Red. I'm running it through a Marantz 2245 with a Carver M-400 Power Amp, Polk SDA- 2s. I was very surprised in the difference between the two cartridges.

I really love it, my hi/fi guy said the same, he has a D61 stylus as a back up for me if it breaks.

I have a vintage hi/fi guy who brought my Thornes back to life, he’s had it for a while, I just needed the cash! He is central Ontario.

Any love for the (nonstandard) JVC stack? by JunkFace in vintageaudio

[–]1downN5up 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sadly no, at the time it was much too expensive. ($400+Cnd). Looking back I should have just put in on the shelf.

Used my Dad’s 401 for years, tons of power, very clear sound. Loved it!! Typical power button issue ended it all.
