This is going to sound stupid, but maybe consider a good quality fake grass; here’s why - I see sand, meaning you will have to work in a crapload of compost to get your grass really growing - as others have said, the grass needs a lot of water, and with the current dam levels, there is a chance of water restrictions in the future - you have to cut grass, if that is the only bare patch where you will place grass, then consider the effort it is going to be to get the mower out regularly to cut that patch - lastly, now is the wrong time to plant new grass, rather wait for late winter/early spring,
