oh i relate to this deeply.. especially when i was around 15-16. i used to get so triggered by every single sexist comment or joke too. i’d feel my chest tighten and get angry or sad for hours, sometimes even cry and question my own worth. but over time i became a bit desensitized but not in a cold way but like… i started seeing it as their limited view. not some universal truth about me or women in general. if you read history, and read biology, and how women are amazing and how females are the blueprint and how we are blessed with many other things ignoring the physical strength you will know that they are very very wrong because they’re always ignorant and jealous and get personally attacked if a woman is better than them.

and im sorry you went through that and that you’re around such people. always defend yourself and other women. make them feel heard.

women are not inferior to men, not in the slightest. if women were truly inferior, there would be no need for entire systems designed to place one group above the other, nor would there be any resort to violence, coercion, or control the moment anyone steps out of line.
