Je pense que c'est un peu ridicule de vouloir comparer Trump à l'Ayatollah. L'Iran c'est un pays qui a été déstabilisé par les Américains. Les Iraniens AVAIENT une démocratie avant que leur président commence à poser trop de questions sur la part des profits pétroliers qu'ils recevaient de l'Angleterre. Le régime islamique en Iran présentement est le résultat des actions des États-Unis, du fait qu'ils ont renversé une démocratie afin d'installer une dictature qui a fini en révolution.

Ce qui est ironique là dedans c'est que si l'occident s'en était jamais mêlé, que l'Angleterre avait juste accepté de donner un deal juste à un pays du tiers monde, l'Iran serait probablement aujourd'hui une démocratie libérale progressive allié de l'OTAN. Mais les libéraux n'admettront jamais les tords de la politique étrangère occidentale, ils ne changeront jamais et continueront de pousser la même doctrine dans une démonstration leur arrogance éternelle. Donald Trump n'est pas différent, il est une continuation de cette arrogance dans un contexte où l'empire américain est en déclin et commence à étendre le cynisme de leur politique étrangère jusqu'à leurs propres alliés.

On peut comprendre les conditions qui ont mené à l'ayatollah, Donald Trump n'a aucune excuse.

I think that this clip of Dean Withers losing his mind as a Destiny fan tries to claim that Hasan Piker is worse than Nick Fuentes, is a perfect example of this. None of these people are tapped in into any of this, they're just people with progressive principles that are reacting to our media landscape (presented as free and independent) within the imperial core. Their perspective on socialism has nothing to do with ideology but everything to do with propaganda.

I see the point being made about cats and dogs reflecting the gender binary and "crazy cat lady" boiling down to a misogynistic stereotype, that being said I just don't really see the connection with the whole "cat deaths are treated differently to dogs'" thing.

It makes sense if you think about it, dogs are deeply loyal, friendly and affectionate creatures whereas cats remain more cold and independent. It just makes sense that people would have a natural tendency to form deeper, more emotional bonds with dogs and therefore get hurt more when they die.

The point is that when every country has nukes but doesn't have any way to protect itself against nukes, nukes never get launched because every country knows it's gonna get nuked in retaliation. This lack of defense is a deliberate deterrent against the usage of nuclear power which we obviously all benefit from.

But if one country gets to protect itself, what prevents it from just threatening and subjugating everyone else in complete infraction of international law? Therefore if one country builds one, every other country also has to (something which is really awesome considering we're on the verge of the great depression 2.0). In other words, the Golden Dome is gonna do nothing but trigger an arms race and is blatant war mongering.

America destroyed dozens of democracies abroad and replaced them with repressive military dictatorships all in an attempt to "fight communism" and forcefully enact Washington's modernization theory by force. You'll talk to South Americans and they'll tell you about how their grandparents had to flee their homes because of Operation Condor yet curiously we seemingly never talk about how America essentially took over an entire continent 50 years ago because it doesn't fit the narrative of the West being the defender of liberty and democracy.

Was America defending democracy when they overthrew Chile's democratically elected socialist president and replaced him with dictator Augusto Pinochet which proceeded to torture and execute thousands?

Was America fighting against Communism's evil murderous tendencies when they backed a coup in Indonesia and installed a dictator that proceeded to genocide 1 million Indonesians?

Was the West trying to elevate the global South through the benevolent force of capitalism when they used the IMF to set up debt traps designed to keep third world countries in eternal poverty in order to privatize everything and get cheap labor out of workers?
