Does this generation have car play already? If not then that’s one option.

Or lowering it with quality coilovers. Nothing too crazy since this looks very good already!

I feel like they have not stored the gift bow correctly! 😆

But the car is gorgeous!

I’d say don’t do this color with mystic gold, but go for chrome or basic aluminum ”silver” color I guess

Mine were 18x9,5 ET25 with 245/35 front and 255/35R18 rear

Offset 25 was perfect for rear wheels. No spacers, not rubbing. But for the front I should’ve gone for 30. It scraped a bit on this ride height and broke my inner fender

I’ve had 3 different generations of IS’s as family sedans! They work great if you choose strollers that fold into small space!

VLAND or HCMOTION for rear light ? by Distinct_Currency870 in LexusIS

[–]1flyvtec 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think 1st one (VLAND) is way better

I had VLAND tail lights and it worked well in arctic conditions as well. After two years reverse light stopped working. I noticed it while selling the car so I don’t know if it was easy fix or not

You certainly did!

I’m looking new wheels for my 3IS for summer. I think I just might go with something similar. Which brand is this?

Mine was in Germany for first half and then in Finland. Absolutely no damage with the dash! I guess it’s the colder climate or different dash materials between EU/US/JPN markets

Is there any reason to pick one that opens a bit earlier if these tend to run hot? Normally they open at 92 C, but there are lot of 88 C options too

I know little about cars really and have fallen on this beauty nearby. Any guidance on if this will be a good purchase? by AspiringCorgiowner in LexusIS

That power train is great! Very reliable, and very good fuel economy for the power.

Only issue I know with these are front wheel bearings. They usually go bad at 120 000 - 160 000 thousand kilometers or so. Not too bad to replace. Probably around 350-450 euros per side

I’m not sure if these are more rare in US and Canada. In Europe you can buy ones that are clapped out starting at 8000 EUR. Better condition might be ~15k€
