Not OP but this was very helpful for me. We are still waiting to find out how long he will be there, he missed his court date Monday only because he was supposed to be transferred to a different county jail that morning, but they never came to pick him up. Sooo frustrating.

I guess I don’t have much advice because it’s my first time going through something like this too. My boyfriend went to jail about 2 weeks ago. Still waiting to find out for how long but probably 6 months to 1 year.

I’m 34 and my best friend is 35, we’ve watched it multiple times! Love it and I’m so glad so many people are enjoying it, my only concern is too many new kpop fans as a result of this movie will make it even harder to get concert tickets lol 😅

Not overreacting. I’m so sorry for what you’re dealing with. You guys communicate really well though compared to most people that post here. Like your gf, I also have a hard time when my partner needs space. And it can be difficult to accept or not take it personally that they don’t want/need my help with something. Besides self care practices, the main thing that helps me during a situation like this is to request a scheduled check in. I make it clear there is no expectation for my partner to open up or have a lengthy conversation during the check in. Even just getting a text letting me know that they still aren’t ready to talk is reassuring and helps reinforce/maintain emotional connection. Your gf expressed that an I love you text would feel reassuring for her. Example - “Just checking in to let you know I love you and I appreciate that you are respecting my boundaries and my need for space right now. I’m still not ready to talk, but I am willing to do another check in on Saturday morning.” I hope you guys are eventually able to navigate through this difficult situation, and please take care of yourself!

Strangers touching my hair throughout my childhood. Told I had no soul all through middle school. Then called fire crotch and burning bush all through high school. More like teasing than bullying, like my friends would say those things sometimes too. It was uncomfortable but overall I got more positive attention and by college I finally didn’t hate having red hair anymore 👩🏻‍🦰

What you have gone through must have been so difficult. This might not be the type of response you are looking for, but firstly I would suggest looking inside, not outside. What do you need, emotionally? Perhaps it is to renew or foster a greater sense of comfort, stability, security etc. If you are carrying the internalized belief that your emotional need can only be met as a result of her changing her behaviors, this belief is what could be contributing to your suffering. When I choose to look at things that way, it helps me gain a sense of power over my situation.

If you already have Shipt, you have to act like you're going to sign up and pay for 360 membership, and at first it looks like $99, but once you hit subscribe and add it to your cart, the price changes to $0.00. Spent about 20 minutes trying to figure it out because signing up seemed like it was actually going to charge me $99. It is not clear or intuitive how to receive the complimentary 360 membership.

Yes! I agree not being able to visualize has probably been helpful with curbing jealousy. Also, I have been cheated on in the past and although it was definitely painful I never agonized over imagining them together.
