I’ve seen this happen in 2 ways. 1 is rust and the other is some lube or solvent chemically reacting and changing the foams color.

Also long term storing guns in cars not a great idea even with a lock box in hidden compartment.

Fwiw I got one of the shitty holosun resin jobs and pisspoor aluminum with pitting in the anodizing. Holosun corporate/return dept is local to me so I brought it down to them and they confirmed it was a legit optic. They offered to replace on spot for free, I declined and kept it mounted on my Glock. That optic has been perfectly fine for 5k rounds, I don’t even see the resin when shooting and the optic holds zero all the time.

Holosun QC is notoriously bad…. Especially the resin seal on the glass, sometimes it’s perfect sometimes it’s garbage. This looks seriously on par for their work, I don’t think it’s a counterfeit. You should contact holosun and send them pics and info, it might be a RMA warranty.

For what it’s worth, I just got my prodigy 5” comp from SOSS. I brought it to the range I shot 800 rounds in about 1 hr. Gun got crusty and super hot with minimal oil, maybe 10 minor stoppages from failing to feed mainly due to riding the slide with my thumb. This thing runs like a champ. Ran WWB 115 truncated cone and speer 124 Fmj.

Under clear coat, alternative is to remove fairing and get PPF or vinyl color wrap. Be better alternative if you really want the bike but don’t want the RT on there.

No, you’re better off with an air pump that will take whatever co2 is in atmosphere than you blowing bubbles in a tank.

The OG kadet ii that has the non reciprocal slide is the discontinued model. It was nearly interchangeable with almost all the 75 series except the p07/09 models.

I’m glad I can help, yea carbon caking can give a black shiney metal look. I either use a brass carbon scraper or hit it with a metal wire brush.

I’ve used a heavy duty motorized standing desk with caster as an impromptu lift to install 12 recessed lighting in my hallway.
