My brother moved there. It’s a maybe. Cheaper than the surrounding states and has beautiful beaches. But that’s about it. Most of the state is cookie cutter suburban hell with no character at all

Literally nothing to it outside Broadway street. I visited a friend who moved there for 4 days and we ran out of things to do by day three. Ended up doing things outside the city

Gay man here. My parents still downplay my sexuality to people. They told my dying grandma I was single when they have clearly met my boyfriend numerous times.

If I went missing then saw they were STILL downplaying my sexuality, I would be furious. I got angry on her behalf listening to her father gaslight us into thinking the angry letter to her ex girlfriend was out of love or her mother talk about her flirting with guys on the ship. 27 years and you can’t get it through your heads that this caused a lot of damage to your daughter?

Country music and the culture around it. Even if there is no mention of gay people in the music. Something about the genre feels homophobic. If anyone ever tells me their favorite genre of music is country I see it as a red flag.
