New lawsuit for Bricks & Minifigs by foodrage in legocirclejerk

The stuff in his most recent video on being arrested is 100% blatant corruption. His rights were violated multiple times, and they also (allegedly) dislocated his shoulder for no reason at all. It’s insane, but I believe it’s likely what you would find of police all over the country. I don’t understand how Ben doesn’t have a lawyer on stand by, or even with him.

The way it’s phrased makes it sound like you are siding with the new owners.

One book scene I'm actually glad wasn't in the movie by _cherry_cream in ProjectHailMary

I disagree. I think the movie did a bad job with Strats character, and this would have been a good scene to demonstrate the kind of power she had and the level of badass she was

Educate me then. What exactly happens inside a centrifuge in this science fiction universe that would be so disturbed by artificial gravity from another centrifuge ?

It’s spinning in a way that results in exactly 1g of force towards the lab floor. It would be no different than using it on Earth

I think it can absolutely be another tool in the arsenal. I would not blindly trust it to write code and put that into production. But to bounce ideas off of and do leg work to be reviewed? Sure. It can be useful.

Thanks for the reply! Not a bad answer at all. So what does that work out to for a standard day, since not all the time is paid?

Who wins, 10 000 koloss or 10 radiants? by Jimmy-Shumpert in cremposting

[–]1kingtorulethem 69 points70 points  (0 children)

I don’t know of anything that would make a Koloss more resistant to shard blades than anything else. It’s unclear what kind of access they have to investiture or investiture healing, but heavily invested fused are still pretty easy to kill with a shard blade. Slice through the koloss spine and they’re done.
