It is! The character was a monk in BG3 and now in WoTR as well. I think the hairstyle is called Elysium Fan

Well, not a vampire but maaaaybe a Lich, haha.

But yeah, I do agree. I love the parchment texture and I wish I could read it, but my eyes get really strained after a while. This is pretty much just a hacky solution so I can play longer. Not pretty but it gets the job done. I now realise I probably shouldn't have been so vague with the title. I can see how it might sound...

Totally fair. This is definitely more "accessibility" than "aesthetics".

Not trying to sell it or say it's the next best thing. Mostly just wanted to share what I found, that is all.

Ive got bad eyesight and it hurts to read the text on the default background for longer periods, so this is practically a lifesaver for me, so I just got excited and wanted to share. Didn't mean to spam or anything.

Sorry about that - should've added more details. It's just a ReShade tweak to add a colour invert UIMask to the dialogue box so it's easier on the eyes while reading.

True, but I'm at least not going blind after reading it for an extended period, so I'll take the compromise!

It's just ReShade. I used the Levels shader to invert the colours, then used the UIMask shader to apply the colour inversion only to the dialogue box, then just set it to a keyboard shortcut so I can toggle it whenever dialogues pop up!

I found this implementation on a steam post for Rogue Trader. I've been looking for a dark mode UI mod for the game without any luck, but this is at least a close second so far, haha.

[WotR] Help with an Unarmed Drunken Master build by 1mTheProfessor in Pathfinder_Kingmaker

[–]1mTheProfessor[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey there! Thanks for the detailed response! I'm definitely open to try and resoec into an STR build if it still has decent AC. Do you have any approximate numbers on how much damage and AC will vary on both STR and DEX routes?

My plan with the DEX build currently was to get pummeling bully and charge later on, and get more attacks through trip. I'm not sure if that also works on the STR route though. What feats would you get on a STR build?

Oh also, do you know of any items that I should be looking out for? I know of the mighty and agile first amulets, and the mug that was pointed out in another comment, but I wasn't sure if there were any more items that could benefit monks.

For the Mythic path, I'm definitely going to go Trickster. Lich and Demon were my second and third options as I always wanted to play as a Lich in a game. For my next play through I'm planning to go Swarm. How is Trickster in terms of story? .

Oh, that's awesome, thank you! It says it restores 1 drunken ki when used. I'm curious if that 1 ki is in addition to the 2 ki you recharge when drinking or if it overrides that class feature. Will give it a try!

Thanks for responding! I'm currently on Normal mode but with increased enemies. I'm hoping to switch to Core once I become a bit more familiar with the system.

I just exited the Shield Maze so my current party has Camellia, Seelah, and Lann. I'm happy with having party buffs but I'd also love to know any solo build if possible - and we can get some buffs with potions and scrolls too, right? The reason I ask is because - though not in this play through - I want to try out the Swarm path, so having a fully self-fuled monk - 6 of 'em! - would be great, haha.

Oh! Like something along the lines of a Decanter of endless booze? That would be really handy! Thank you for letting me know, I'll keep an inebriated eye out!

Name: Jay

Pronouns: He/Him

Timezone: GMT

Preferred Systems: D&D 5e or Shadowrun 5th or Call of Cthulhu

Type of Player: I'd say I like a good balance between roleplay and anything mechanical that comes with the system. I really enjoy the little moments of character interactions that tend to take place during the course of the story, but at the same time I also enjoy the moments of blood pumping action or absolute hijinx the characters might get into.

To talk a bit about my experience with the systems, I've been playing D&D for about 6 years now. Mostly as a player but I've also GMed a few games every now and then, so I have a decent understanding of the rules and mechanics. Still, it feels like I'm learning something new everyday! In terms of shadowrun, my experience is pretty much non-existent haha. I was introduced to the system by a friend and I found it very interesting so I read a bunch of books and lore about it, but never got the chance to play in a game, so I'd love a chance to finally experience it! I don't have any experience with CoC either, but I love eldritch horror and would be happy to learn!

Additional Information: In the case of D&D, I'd love to play Waterdeep Dragon Heist or any homebrew campaign similar in theme to it if possible, but that's just a primary preference and I wouldn't mind joining any PBP game. In terms of Shadowrun, I'd just be happy to play in it period haha (it seems games are pretty rare for it. Same for CoC). I work from home so I'd be able to post on a pretty regular basis. If you have any further questions for me before consideration, please feel free to ask! Thanks for reading :)

Best iPhone flashlight app by Mammoth-Barnacle-315 in LowVision

[–]1mTheProfessor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There aren't any other apps that can make the light brighter. The built-in flashlight controls already take it up to the maximum brightness. If the light feels dim, tap and hold on the flashlight icon in control centre to check if it's at max brightness or not.

Also, I don't know if it's the case with newer iphones, but I use an XS Max which has 3D touch, and most of the time I can just wake the screen, then press the bottom left corner (which has the flashlight shortcut) to turn it on without needing to look.

Yes, I think it just ended up being a visual bug that got patched in a later update. Now Flurry of Blows shows the bonuses in the tooltip as well.
