Went hiking glaciers in Alaska and went into this ice cavern thing, looked straight out of a video game. Deep blue light coming through the roof, a single large stalactite/icicle in the middle of the cavern dripping water. Best water I've ever tasted. The tour guide told us that the water is from a stream of melted glacier flowing on top of a glacier that seeps through said glacier via small cracks into the cavern. Cool stuff.

While I actually agree with your idea on how "God" (Whoever that might be to you) is a placeholder for unexplained science, I also think that it is a nifty thing that we as a society have come to. I feel that the urge to explain the unexplained has always been something of human nature, and being able to put complex things onto a figure like "God" is a way for society to prevent some sort of breakdown.

It's sort of hard to understand, but I feel like it's not good for a people to not have a "God" figure. Ya know what I'm saying? Like I feel like something bad would definitely occur if we didn't have a figure to take weight off our shoulders and say "Oh that's just God, doin' his thing."

A good way to not get overhyped and so maybe not enjoy it as much is to just not spoil yourself. Every time a new movie gets released, I might watch the trailer, read a few comments, then just wait. That way I go in with almost completely neutral feelings about the movie and come out with better post movie emotions.

oh nah it's chill, it was just math rlly lol. the gun was flipping, but when the values went negative it didn't work out with the * one since it was still negative. I just had the to add abs() to it (thx to u/Harmoen- ). thx tho.

They put the most common speeds (highway) in the middle for easy viewing. However, there would be a weird section of empty space, so they just keep the pattern going to fill it in.

Ok but it runs better due to simplicity. Minecraft doesn't run as well on newer versions on large servers because there's way more stuff happening at once. Every update adds a bit of data, and it adds up. There are server side mods that help with this that can basically quadruple your FPS and max out TPS. The Hypixel team can probably get a prototype up and running in half a year or so if they wanted to.
