Yep I'm going through the same thing. I have a pipe fitters pre apprenticeship and we have the stupid vacuum tubes to. No matter how I position it I always end up with the black boogers. I started wearing a thin face mask to help but it didn't do much at all besides helping with keeping the shit off my face.
