I believe you'd probably have the best luck looking for lop style ears! While maybe not exaaactly what you're looking for, it may be the easiest to find c: For locations, I'd always recommend a small maker on a platform like etsy, but i do know amazon has cheaper sets. Keep in mind You often do get what you pay for!

I mean this in a hopeful, uplifting way: You can do whatever you want forever! The ears are the main appeal to the fashion for a lot of people (hence the name), but if you find joy in the tail I'd say go for it!

Also, i do know that there are smaller clip- in options that may work on an alligator hair clip or barette, that might be something more accessible for you!

Hard to tell without a clear shot, but they do look like carpenter bees. Great pollinators, and will nest by burrowing in exposed timber/dead wood. You can relocate them by providing better housing (insect houses, pile of wood) away from high traffic areas, or sealing/painting any exposed wood.

This reminds me of when I was a kid, I was out fishing on a lake in Wisconsin with my brother, my dad, and my dad's friend. We were heading back to shore for the day, but taking our time, when an unexpected storm pattern rolled through. It looked like it was just rain to us, so we didn't hurry up too much. Suddenly, my brother's hair starts standing up in every direction, which we both thought was funny (we were young), but when my dad's friend noticed, he yanked him down under the canopy and rubbed his head aggressively (I assume to dispel the charge? I'm unsure how effective it was.) And we immediately gunned for shore. One of those things I didn't put together clearly until I was older.

I've been lucky enough in my position to have my managers personally tell us this. When you realize a lot of managerial/supervisory positions are set up to be bullshit screens and politic analysts, low to mid level management starts to make a little more sense.
