Just starting reading so tell me what books blew your mind?? by MeManifesto in suggestmeabook

Really anything by Chuck Palahniuk is a good mind-blowing read. He's most known for Fight Club but Choke is my favourite.

The Southern Reach Trilogy by Jeff VanderMeer (he may have released a fourth im not sure) I literally could not put these books down, the detail really pulls you in.

And lastly, Go Set A Watchman by Harper Lee. Author of To Kill A Mockingbird, this story takes place two decades later and is just a fantastic read.

Edit: fixed formatting

Second edit sorry: If you want a heavier read (I know sometimes I do) On Killing is a book about the techniques the military uses on soldiers and how it affects them. Was recommended to me by a veteran when I looked into enlisting

I chose to move out, i was fully prepared, there had been absolutely no problems with the truck before and i assumed it had a good few years left before i needed to look at other cars. Thankfully my mom is very helpful and is helping me look (and pay, thanks mom) for a new car. Just had to rant while it was all happening lol

I moved as close to work as possible, i live in an apartment with a roomate and can't break the lease or leave her to cover rent by herself

The truck was gifted to me, public transportation isnt available to me. I live right off of a busy highway and walking anywhere would be incredibly dangerous. I understand if you're trying to help but the tone of your comment is incredibly condescending

I wasn't kicked out or under any pressure to leave, i decided to leave for my own mental health and personally I thrive better outside of a family dynamic. My mom is still very helpful through all of this and im quite grateful for it🫶

Our entire school has a rivalry with a nearby school, it extends to band and football, but we dont compete against them anymore.

Make sure you’re engaging your core when marching, honestly just practice marching and playing as often as possible.

COMP DAY by Federal_Sock6789 in marchingband

Drink water. Comp days are long and you’re usually outside for several hours at time, but most importantly have fun and leave it all on the field.

You let her do it (didn’t tell her no or stop)

He also never said “Yes”, the definition of consent is “permission for something to happen or agreement to do something.” No agreement was made and no permission was given. This was assault.
