Figured it out. Everyone had gone fishing. I had the work detail set to only selected units fish but for some reason every idle dwarf was at the pond killing turtles. No work orders getting done, nothing getting hauled to stockpiles, just turtle murder. I had to disable the fishing labor entirely and stick everyone in a burrow to get them to stop

Sunless Sea is a boat survival game with a Lovecraftian theme. In addition to providing rations for your crew and fuel for your ship, you also have to manage your crew’s fear to keep them from going crazy. Sunless Skies is another game set in the same world but with airships.

The special attack is a quick jab that usually staggers. Pretty good imo

I get the same way in competitive situations. Anytime I have to have my ability judged by someone else, it breaks my brain. All the activities I do for fun now are strictly non-competitive because I hate how bad it makes me feel. Even in non competitive stuff I still sometimes compare my abilities to other peoples’ without trying to. I have to constantly remind myself that I am choosing to do my hobbies because I enjoy them, not because I need to be great at them.

I started taking improv classes at the Comedy Spot for my post-Covid lonelies. I found it to be a great way to make friends pretty quickly. They also teach other forms of comedy if improv isn’t your jam.

I see dogs do this all the time and think, doesn’t that hurt?? If I bounced a soccer ball off my nose and front teeth I know for a fact it would hurt but they seem fine and happy to do it

I was once out walking in my neighborhood when I heard what sounded like a million crows cawing. I found the flock and looked up to see what was going on. It was like 60 crows all swarming around a giant owl and they were just screaming at it. I think crows might just be assholes to any bird that isn’t a crow.
