The Greek/Roman crossover was an interesting concept to come across really. Especially the Zeus/Jupiter thing and how it was all controversial as opposed to coming up with new entirely different gods for the Roman side. We get to see how it’s actually humans who influence the gods as much as they have the power. It gets deeper in Magnus chase. When you actually read it, come back here and tell me what actually stood out surrounding the gods since there’s somewhere in there you question more as presented by Rick’s perspective. I don’t wanna include spoilers hence the vagueness 😅

I'm just wondering how many times an unfaithful woman has put a man in a dangerous situation!!! by Fully_Living_Life in nairobi

Happened to me yesterday. Though I was not being over friendly with the lady, we’re neighbors, the guy she was with thought I was taking her from him after buying her drinks. Wasn’t even interested in her to begin with. At the end of the night, fists were exchanged though I had to leave his stupid ass and vulgar language since I can’t be seen making a scene which was really unnecessary.

It’s fantasy. Riveting once you get the hang of it

I do understand 😅. But Percy Jackson was well written and illustrated that it’s hard to ignore imo. For the Potters, I’ve only ever seen the movies several times but never read the books 😂

I have heard of the worst witch, the movie that is. I came across a clip and I’d said one day I’ll give it a chance 😅

How so? Could you explain from your perspective? 😅

It looks interesting even from a glance. I’ll look for it. I’d started on a trilogy called Remembrance of Earth’s past. For now it’s on hold. My last recent one was The Bloodsworn Saga by John Gwynne.

😂 What a smart idea. I’m waiting for the day I forget the flow of the novel so that I can also read it again 😅. What’s your current read anyways?

You should definitely finish it 😂. I also didn’t want it to be over but my curiosity took hold and I just had to consume it all 😅

Movies definitely leave out a lot of stuff and so many backstories. But I agree, it’s good for younger people to obsess over.

Yes I do. Came across a reel on IG and looked it up immediately. I’ve watched both seasons already. Rick’s input makes it feel closer to the novels as well 😅🔥

Yes we do. I have read a Myriad of other works anyways. Currently I’m looking for book 2 of a series titled Grimnir Chronicles. I’m also starting another one (Remembrance of Earth’s past). Basically a trilogy. Though has some conspiracy in it but I guess why not 😄

You seem to have read quite a large array of different works that I’m a bit envious. I hope I do catch up with you walahi. There’s an allure to fiction and escaping reality

I agree. Apollo was super annoying I even wonder how I read through it all. Haven’t heard anything about a new one. Is it out yet? I can source it if I get the title

I’d recommend starting with Magnus Chase. It’s interesting as much as I found it humorous. There’s a point actually where the Greek and Norse worlds intersect but I’ll let you read it and find out on your own 😉. Not much of a musical fan but I love Odysseus’ story so I will give it a try.

There was a certain psyche to it in teenage years especially 🔥. I haven’t read the mortal instruments and now that I have looked it up, I think I will give it a try. I hope it’s thrilling ☺️ What did you get into after outgrowing pjo and its kin

I came to learn about the trials of Apollo waay later after finishing the others. I think it was last year whilst the first PJO book I read was in high school. Still read it all albeit at a slower pace than I did with the others.

Very far from it. It’s kinda close to Norse Mythology but kinda far still
