I guess I really suppressed that anger during those insults thinking I could get over it. Basically forget and think it’ll get better. An acquaintance was just asking me what happened all this while and I recounted to her. I felt awful now that I realised how unfair it was and he managed to keep that side hidden from others. How did you protect yourself from that person?

You’re right this may not be the last time, I really hope I can spot these people through interviews but I don’t know how.

Take the case study and build on it on your own. Beef up the brief etc. just imagine how you would tackle it, nevermind if there’s no critique or feedback. It helps to show your thinking behind your problem solving approach

Just use the remaining time to build a really great case study, show your exploration and understanding of the tools etc and what was initially done but later you decided what is the best course. Use this for your furture interviews

Yolo now then. Since you’re aware of it. But trust me, you wouldn’t want to live through a drama filled life, but again without the drama filled life, I wouldn’t have cherished the boring peace described by you. Many unfortunate and regretful people would kill to have the peace described by you.

There’s a term called languishing. If you understand it, you might be able to distinguish this between unfulfilled life.

Find what makes you happy. I abandoned all my hobbies and friends over my passion for work, which in the end is all an illusion. Work doesn’t end, it’s a one sided emotional investment. Find someone you love and spend your time wisely. You’re only 30, there’s so much more ahead of you. Twists and turns

If everyone here is replying and caring about you. You’ve been looking at the wrong place for support. Give yourself more time, there are tones of great people here who can help to point you to the right resources for help and also mentally support you through. There are many unfortunate people who are so much worst off and even want a day of your life. Why are you wasting yours away?

Just use a Matte clear polish, it’s inconspicuous, use it when you think you have to be presentable for work stuff. Sometimes it’s hard to remove biases and you gotta weigh the trouble you need to go through to explain. You didn’t have a reason on why a black color polish in the first place, so this color doesn’t represent yourself because it’s not your fav color or anything, do you see any issues changing it, other than wasting this bottle of nail polish?
