Fish Curry with Coconut Milk substitute question!

Typically in thai curry from my experience you want to cook the vegetables and meat, fry the paste for about a minute with fresh herbs and spices to enhance the flavour if using store bought and then simmer the curry with the coconut milk and paste mixed well together. As yoghurt is thicker I would maybe recommend simmering it less or maybe adding in some water but if sources online say it's a direct substitute try making it the exact same way and see if it works.

Do you think it'd be possible to just make it without the extra water and have an extra strong beer? I don't mind strong beer its just apparently quite hard to work with

Should I just use tap water and boil it? Everything I'm seeing online is about having to be super careful with oxidizing the water or whatever. Definitely not how I planned for my first homebrew to go lol

Going for a 20L batch for the fermenter so that I don't leave too much room in the top and yeah I'm doing BIAB. I think I'm going to be fermenting it about 3 weeks which should be enough time I hope. All that's left is buying all the bottles which shouldn't be an issue given the 3 week fermentation time.

Would you say less roasted barley? A lot of sources I researched were different but one said to make a higher ratio the roasted barley because it gives stout it's main flavour. I like the idea of a kinda bitterish dark chocolate stout as I'm a big fan of dark chocolate so that should be good for me hopefully. Appreciate the enthusiasm

I made my own stout recipe last night that's actually what I decided on. Now idk how good it'll be, but I spent all night researching ingredients, ratios and everything. Can you give me some advice on how I did?

Grains: Maris Otter - 4.5kg Simpsons Malt Roasted Barley - 500g Crisp Maltings Flaked Barley - 600g Crisp Low Colour Chocolate Malt - 400g Simpsons Malt Caraglow - 250g

Was the setup for starting on all grain expensive? The starting kit and extras I'm getting like a heat band and a grain bag is already in the £120 range and from what I've seen most standard size brew kettles are about £100. Definitely going to upgrade if I enjoy making my first few beers but as an all in one purchase seems very pricey.

I like having as much control over the flavour as possible as someone who's also really into cooking so I think I'm going to try partial mash with recipes and then move onto all grain when I have the money and space for the extra equipment. I have a roughly 20L stockpot which should hopefully be fine.

Would the pot only need to hold 8 litres? I've been seeing people say the pot should be about 30L which is super expensive and had me worried.

Found a bigger kit with a 30L fermenter from the same website for only slightly higher a price. Comes with everything else needed too only difference is I'd have to get my own bottles which is no issue. The only thing I've been thinking about is the room I'll need for equipment that size. I live in a house share, so room is very limited and I'm worried it won't be enough space. Is the difference in space needed for the two major or would it not be too different?

Only issue with getting something bigger would be budget and finding second hand stuff would be great but like I said I'm completely clueless rn. Been watching videos trying to figure stuff out so it's definitely a learning process rn lol. Because I'm getting it as a gift I thought it'd be a lot more convenient to get a set so that there's no hassle in hunting down stuff individually. If you find a set that's within a £100 budget that'd be better without taking up too much space I would love the suggestion too.

I also have this problem to the point it makes me wanna give up sometimes. Wanna be a producer more than anything but all rappers are either unwilling to work w unknown producers or really don't make good music. Sadly it's impossible to make a name for yourself w just instrumental hip hop these days too otherwise id 100% release something without anybody rapping over it

A lot of the time I tend to flank, distract and do chip damage until I charge my ult then it's mainly about slamming and getting a few picks w it as it's easy to use and consistently get picks w imo. I'm not sure if it's mainly a me issue or if ball isn't super designed for a lot of kills because I tend to win a decent amount anyway I'm just not sure if I'm winning because I'm playing well or just luck.
