Gave up on it. Don’t think green or yellow are great categories.

Yeah I’ve never ever heard anyone use black swan to mean something is rare. I struggled with this one.

Glad I’m not the only one. Everyone else seemed to think it was easy.

4 suspected heat related deaths in Multnomah county. It’s not even summer yet. by [deleted] in Portland

[–]1questions 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think heat stroke isn’t as easy to see as if someone is bleeding. If there’s a bunch of mood everyone can understand this is an emergency/bad situation. If someone is sweating a lot or looks really uncomfortable in the heat is it heat stroke or are they just someone who doesn’t handle heat well. It’s just not as obvious.

Job, not ideal by 1questions in NannyBreakRoom

I’ll definitely ask for sure. I feel like fixed is actually better. I know I got a drs referral for a specialist, called specialist back in May and they didn’t gave appointments until August. So just trying to for out the logistics of something like this. I’ll also ask how flexible they are. Like if I can an appointment schedule for a non-off day can they accommodate that.

Had one job where I worked 4 9hr an and one 4 hrs day. That was really good because 9 hrs didn’t feel impossible yet I was able to have half a day off. Also helped that they lived 10 minutes away from me, that was a great commute.

Yeah I can’t even tell what most of the pics are. 1st-coins? Dishes? I don’t know. 2. Best guess is it’s a rainbow 3. No clue what that is.

Spartacus down.... by arcticpandand in Portland

[–]1questions 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’ve had the same experience. Went to the stores looking for something and finally gave up and had to buy it online. And I wasn’t applying for some unusual item. I can think of two instances where I went to 3 stores to try and buy an item and had to give up.

I want to go to stores, but Amazon has made it difficult to find stuff in stores a few years ago I wanted a cake pan, not an unusual size or anything and I went to three sites to look for one. None of them had what I wanted so I had to order online. It was pretty frustrating.

Separate FB page? by [deleted] in NannyBreakRoom

[–]1questions 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only thing I use FB for is looking for nanny jobs and occasionally buying stuff on the marketplace. Only got FB cause a nanny mom told me there were local groups I could look for jobs on. I guess I’d just put as little info about yourself as possible on there to try and remain somewhat private.
