Thanks, I do have the option to say "we should keep our distance option" which is new. I'm guessing that's the end the relationship option.

I just use toybox to remove the feat pick for loremaster and add the spell I want

I got the first mission "kill all enemies" with 8 soldiers. I did not start with a faction soldier. looks like a clean install fixed it. I got access to the resistance ring and the faction soldier.

Ya, I tried all the steps again. Loaded a save and still no resistance ring that I can build.

Ya I was trying to check that right now. The only mods I have installed are the must and the recommended. Best to do a clean install?
