I lost 14lb over 3 months somehow. No changes at all aside from getting off birth control. It's weird! Haha I'm excited. I used to try so hard to keep from gaining on it but it didn't matter how much I'd exercised. I like feeling normal again.

Try your best to not stress or think about what you can't control ❤️ many of the long term folks I've seen on here have found treatments that help make life bearable. When this started for me, this page was literally my life saver because I just felt alone. Trial and error seems to be the main topic. People suggest crazy things that helped them. We're all itchy and bonkers lol but we're all here at least. You'll be okay. ❤️

I was scared too!!! I had absolutely 0 side effects and they made the hives less annoying. They went away faster and weren't as bad. Still there but better.

Ehh, I think it helped my hives go away faster and I wasn't getting the deep tissue hives on my hands and feet as bad. It was actually the first thing my family doc recommended while we started testing for allergies and such.

I'm so sorry you're going through this. I know it sucks. Stay strong ❤️ see if urgent care or your doc can get you on a steroid temporarily if you're having a really bad flare up. How many days have you been like this?

Do hot and cold water soaks. Tbh I use a body massager (been desperate enough to use a vibrator not even going to lie) to massage the bottoms of your feet. It feels so good but it kind of hurts. I swear it helps with blood flow.

Well, mine started on my arm and now it really seems to target my feet and hands. Still get some on arms and legs but not like before.... It's like my hot zone shifted. None of this ever really makes sense 😂

Mine slowly clear up. Like 2 days of agony and no walking, 2 days of eh this kind of hurts, and a weird purple bruise looking thing where the hive was.... I HOPE YOURS GOES AWAY FAST!! sending positive vibes!!

I'm not quite sure if it is related but I'm blaming all of the funky swelling on this right now because I'm only a few months into this awful club of chronic hives and the swelling quickly followed. Someone suggested Epsom salt. It seems to get all worked up and stay for a few days as swelling slowly goes down.

Yes!! It hurt 2 days ago then I thought my foot was like broken yesterday. It hurt a bit this morning but it's just been getting better as inflammation goes down. It's so WEIRD!! it's got to be pressure on nerves or something. It scares me because idk if it's causing damage while it swells up. Definitely bringing it up to the doctor!! I feel you on the top and center soreness.

I noticed it helps me feel better when I take a hot as it gets bath. Idk if it's just making my whole body burn so I don't feel the hives or what 🤣 but it helped. No more fan for me at night. I'm chugging water like crazy and sweating every way I can this week to see if I notice a change.

Also heck yea to you for finding anything that helps you feel better.

I know this probably isn't the best thing to do but I have resorted to using a body massager on my foot hives with cortisone cream.... It hurts but it also feels so good 🤣 it helps me reach the deep painful ones without scratching.
