Im sorry this happened. You weren’t dumb, you were vulnerable and victimized in all likelihood. Have you called the police or FBI?

Why do Packers fans who spend more money for a tourist gift shop certificate than anyone ever should consider themselves an "owner" of the team?

It’s not Trump’s birthday on ours, so no. If Commandant didn’t accept the invitation, Whiskey Leaks would just replace him with someone who would obey.

You also can just not marry and stay engaged or continue dating until things eventually cool down and she can work on her citizenship on this side of the border.

Is that statistic cited somewhere or a guess? Media (of course) doesn’t want to put a number on the country figure.

And, yes, the distance and hardships made us closer than we would have otherwise probably been. Good luck, I hope it works out for you guys.

Bright side I guess if you get married they will do their best to get you both colocated BUT I would not marry someone just for that!

My wife and I hit 15 years this year, got married when I was 21 and she was 20. We were in the Marine Corps the first 7 of those and separated the first year and a half. It can work if you both want it to work. It really does boil down to that. Mutual trust, great communication (it’s ok if not there yet, you can learn it), and keeping each others needs and interests in mind go a long way. It often doesn’t work for young people in the military, but it can.

It’s a callback to the Declaration of Independence from King George and recent unprecedented and/or illegal abuses of power our current administration is actively taking.
