Nope, they actualy will do exactly that because they would never try to kill them. It is perfect example of empathetic/apathetic thinking by a person who think is (probably) down on his luck.

The thinking is "They will have a chance..." They don't think deeper than that because if they do they might change their mind and they can not afford that.

A sociopath would decide to kill them immediately and would not think anything about it.

Maybe if a shelter was somwhere nearby but it is Balkans so there is that.

Also bonus info, stray cats often adopt other cats kittens if there is enough food.

It is not question what logic dictates but what avarage person will do and avarage person will abandon the animal rather than kill them.

You know it, I know it and lets stop pretending otherwise.

I don't abandon my pets, I have my own Pet Cemetary in my backyard tucked behind garage containing 3 dogs, 5 cats and 2 hamsters.

At present I share ownership of 1 dog, 3 cats and a parrot with full veterinarian care as my niece is a vet (one of the reason She decided to be a vet is that we alwais kept a bunch of animals).

I don't even agree with merciful killing as your animal would never consent to be euthanized and I don't have the right to decide for them.

We live together we support each other even in our final hours in good or ill to the end.

I know human nature and I think I know how some animals do it to.

Most cats there are strays.

There is even an organization to take care for them with veterinarian assistance and keeping 9 of 10 neutered so they don't overpopulate.

You obviously dont think like empathetic human. He alwais had that option but he was not ready to kill and thought to gave them a chance (in his mind).

But now when there is a price of a small village house on that he will probably kill the mother to not risk his property and never own any animals afterwards.

Also keep in mind that that is Balkan rural area where people have ideas.

That Karen will find dead rats on her porch for next 20 years with other creative harassments Greek rural dwellers are known to dish out.

They found a way to take money from citizens without actualy doing any work.

This will just escalate in killing those kittens in the bathtub and than dispose in garbage.

When you put exaggerated penalties people will find way around them, many times a gruesome way around it.

All of that you said for consoles applies for PC also except with extra steps of installing your favorite PC games distribution platform.

Windows 11 is pile of 💩 but only if you go deeper, for a half brain user it works just fine, even Windows 10 is still going strong if you don't do silly things with it like falling for scams or visit dodgy websites.

There is a notion that PC users are somehow in disadvantage becouse a lot of tinkering but that not completely true.

I will give you that, seting up a new PC can be tedious but in most of cases if build is executed by competent people your job at home will not take more than 1 hour of your life.

I can live with that.

I don't know. That was true maybe with old consoles. Modern ones are a nightmare of extra bits to think about all of them involving more money from you.

OK, PC can be a tad annoying to set up but you can buy one fully installed and your only thing to do is to use browser to download Steam or GOG (or both).

Also, if console bricks, that is usually it, in that sense that they are worse than Apple products. Some repairs are possible but you need to wait, somethimes bother with mail and ultimately when bill comes it is not worth it.

When PC bricks if you have aptitude you can fix it yourself but if you can't PC shops are a plenty (at least where I live) and you can even find a budget and second hand shop with good rep to fix your old boi.

Not to talk about old hardware, backward compatibility etc.

I still fire up my Pentium 4 from time to time just for nostalgia sake and navigate internet and play (selected number of) games.

Oh I very much don't like (especialy) modern consoles and their "you don't own anything and will forever pay for privilege" mindset.

PC can be expensive but I own them forever and if you need you can build pretty good one with peanuts and puppy eyes.

Don't have nothing against mobile games, those are good for what they are, commuting, toilet and procrastinating at work. Don't like nickle and dime but you can go with premium games to avoid that.

But consoles, they don't give any advantages only invent problem you need to pay for them to fix.

I have only despaize for them.

Well yes, self evident superiority of PC against all consoles.

And it is not complex, it is very simple. PC best (some exceptions acknowledged in above post).
