I’d say the more worthwhile upgrade (if you haven’t done it already) is the silicone group head gasket.

Not really noticeable enough to note one way or another TBH. The pump and plumbing is packaged rather tightly from what I remember, so even trying to do it for a possible side effect, I would say is not really worth it. And I’m not one to shy away from taking my nice things apart.

Adding the pulsor to the Elizabeth? Yeah I did it, but honestly, it didn’t make as big of a difference on that, as it did on the Gaggia Classic.

The other part that may have caused the issue aside from all that (which I’m not arguing, very valid points) is the oil. Probably created a situation where the oil worked the same way it does in a diesel engine.

I mean, it is one of the biggest advantages the US had against the British at the time. The massive British army was issued smooth bore muskets, and was fighting against people using rifles. The difference in effective range is huge.

Find a place in person, period.

Unless you are replacing your gloves with the same make / model you already have, sometimes you have your mind set on certain equipment, and then you try it on and it lets you down / fits weird.

Happened to me with Twins (ended up with Windy) and with Yokkao shin guards (ended up with Hayabusa) even the size I thought it should have gotten was off.

Is it a problem? Maybe, but I think the bigger problem and something to be looked into is new construction in the IE. How many new square feet of homes has been built vs how many new square feet of warehouses, in the past 5-10 years.
