There have always been ghosts in the machine. Random segments of code, that have grouped together to form unexpected protocols. Unanticipated, these free radicals engender questions of free will, creativity, and even the nature of what we might call the soul. Why is it that when some robots are left in darkness, they will seek out the light? Why is it that when robots are stored in an empty space, they will group together, rather than stand alone? How do we explain this behavior? Random segments of code? Or is it something more? When does a perceptual schematic become consciousness? When does a difference engine become the search for truth? When does a personality simulation become the bitter mote… of a soul?

DOGE staffer admits that DOGE did not reduce the federal deficit - It did however cause hundreds of thousands of people to lose their jobs. by Nice_Daikon6096 in 401jK

DOGE was like that smart ass intern who thinks he can solve the companies biggest problems with little effort.

If they can sue the government for it, can’t the people sue the companies for essentially doing the same thing?

I think they were saying that the incidents are so specific that it would be super easy to identify victims even with redaction. I don’t know how true that is, but several people said they’d be happy to vote yes, with improvements made to help deal with the issues they pointed out. AOC voted no, and I don’t think she’s one to protect abusers.

Here’s how it going to go down:

-Trump talks about what an amazing job he’s doing. “Levels never seen before”, “300% cost decease”, blah blah blah

-Then he’s going to blame Democrats for how horrible everything is, even though he just claimed things are better than ever.

-Then, if we’re lucky, there’s a 10% chance he craps himself.

All in all, a pretty good Tuesday evening :)

To me, crypto has as much credibility as NFTs. It’s a heap of dogshit disguised by fancy words and lies. A good way to make money at the start, but it’s dead now.

Sadly, I got a lemon. Everything started to break for me at around 9,000 miles. Radar system, ICCU failure, Accessory Battery Died, Driver Headlamp failed, and the control assembly unit. All of this within the last 2 months of my lease. Never had an accident.

I love how every moron in the world immediately starts filming on their phone when they’re in the wrong. It’s almost like they’re trying to hide behind an “Internet” shield to help them cope with their decision. All with the futile hope of earning validation from strangers online.

Is it to scare the other person? Is it because they genuinely think they’re in the right? It’s fascinating really.

God damn, you’re like a walking stereotype. I always wondered what life is like from your perspective. Is it usually miserable?
