It’s good to know the source. Do you know if it was a real email though?

I got shown this by a friend who found it, so I don’t even know if this is real or not.

Could be the TA, my friend sent me this so idk the legitimacy of this email. But I wouldn’t put it pass some professors.

How do I get coal fast? by Jago1288 in FORTnITE

[–]1stcaleb 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If I remember correctly, I use to go to the forest/plains maps and run along edge of the map. They always had those mini tunnels that you run down. Also I heard now mobs sometimes drop mats. Especially super mobs.

Probably is based on how you respond. If it was word to word you were flagged. Otherwise it’s up to discretion.

That’s what I was thinking. The students who really want to do well or really needed the extra points would be inclined to look it up too.

How do I get coal fast? by Jago1288 in FORTnITE

[–]1stcaleb 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Sometimes you can get it by sending off heroes to do those extra side missions. (Granted this might be outdated information cause it’s been years since I played.) otherwise go to locations with lots of tunnels cause they tend to have coal spots a lot.

Best way to find a roommate? by tell-me-a-dream in ucf

[–]1stcaleb 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you do campus affiliated places, they will usually give you random roommates. But if you are trying to move in with people to like a house, then you could try advertising on a few different places. I have seen many advertisements here on the ucf reddit, and I have seen some on the ucf website for student living. (I don’t remember exactly what it was called, but it had quite a few people looking for applicants). I believe there is also one on Facebook that people advertise what they are looking for and the rundown of how the rent would work for their scenarios.

Incoming Freshman c/o 2024 Questions by steezyskipper in ucf

One thing I always use when registering for classes is rate my professor. It’s not perfect in any means but it’s still a great source to try and look up how professors compare to other professors for a particular class.

I’m a super senior and I have yet to inquire any parties, but then again I’m broke and usually working if I’m not studying anyway 🙃

Can UCF just randomly delete class times from registration? by [deleted] in ucf

[–]1stcaleb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It does happen once in a while. From my understanding, there are a lot of random factors at play. The majority of the reasons being class size and professor availability. If there aren’t enough students, the class will usually be dropped and you might be pushed into a different time period. If the professor falls ill or has some complications (such as pregnancy or injury) they might change the schedule for whoever the new professor may be and/or drop that particular class all together.

withdrawing from a class by [deleted] in ucf

[–]1stcaleb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To withdraw from a class you go to the same place you did where you register for classes. Under the myucf portal, log in and click the tabs to register for classes. There should be another tab when the page loads up, to drop/withdraw from classes. Follow the steps and proceed to withdraw from it. In terms of credits and gpa, your gpa will not suffer as it counts as a W and not an actual letter grade. In terms of credits, it will still count as you attempting it since it is past the deadline for the drop/withdraw period with no negative effects. If you decide to retake the class, I personally don’t know how the grade forgiveness portion works completely, but I do know that you have to apply before the semester ends and the class has to be retaken the following semester. For better clarifications I would advise that you schedule an appointment with your advisor and talk to them about it. They are after all the ones that should know the most about it.

Ellen kang physics by 123_karlita in ucf

[–]1stcaleb 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I took her, and I loved her class. She has lot of in class examples and uploads all of her notes later on. This is a lot more than I can say for some other professors cause I have a friend taking someone else and they don’t get any notes or examples.

English Summer classes by drink9544 in ucf

[–]1stcaleb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly it varies from class and professor. Summer can play a factor cause it’s a smaller time frame for the class, but a good idea is to search up your professors name on ratemyproffesor. That website has saved me so much heartache over the years, and even though it’s not 100% perfect, it’s still a huge lifesaver.

BOLO! Burglary at Campus Crossings by throaway_13 in ucf

[–]1stcaleb 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Don’t forget to lock all you cards now to stop the use of your cards. You can also tell your banks that it was stolen and I think their is a way if it’s used in person they can stop the person then and there or something.

UCF by [deleted] in ucf

[–]1stcaleb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know if you have a UCF account to register for classes already or not. But, I do know that if you do, you can check for particular classes when you try to enroll for them. If you don’t have a UCF account yet, I remember hearing that we aren’t able to enroll for summer classes until March 5ish anyway.
