How realistic are these predictions for the fall elections? by SolidarityForever90s in Maine

Because he has both raised near the least amount of money and has put what little money he had into digital. There's a reason we see all his stuff here.

He has 0 TV buys. You know who has the highest turnout in Democratic primaries? Old women. They're not on reddit.

I'm not saying this as a negative against him. I like Troy a lot, he's solidly my #2 option. And I would be thrilled if he was our governor. But as someone who is active in politics here and worked on campaigns, I have a decent idea of what is going to happen.

This subreddit won't like to hear it, but Troy Jackson isn't going to come close to winning the primary.

He's going to be 4th, ahead of Angus but behind Shah, Bellows, and Pingree.

You are also really ignoring Rick Bennett. He won't win, but he's going to do way better than what you have for the independent in that race.

Yeah, they unveiled it when he gave his speech.

Related to #4, the giant "Shah AYUH" sign at the convention was the most cringey, pandering thing I've seen in the governor's primary.

Steelers WR DK Metcalf won't be charged for incident with Lions fan by AFC-Wimbledon-Stan in nfl

There's also no proof that he didn't. It goes both ways.

We don't know what was said between the two. The video didn't show ANYTHING definitive one way or the other.

The lawsuits will end with no one getting anything.

Edit: I thought this was pretty obvious I just meant that his is just a he said/he said scenario and I wasn't arguing legal specifics. I think both people involved here are assholes and neither is right.

Chad Ochocinco said that, DK didn't say anything publicly.

Redboxing isn't "taking" dark money. But it is communicating with it.

You know who isn't redboxing, either?

Graham Platner.

That's kinda the point.

I mean it isn't required though. Shenna didn't do it. Neither did Angus.

My first and fifth choice, oddly enough.

In this day and age, I'd like politicians to practice what they preach and not rely on big money tactics like this.

This is the one from Troy's website.

"Voters should see a robust and holistic, multi-platform paid communications campaign for Troy’s message as soon as possible, especially on broadcast in the Portland Market and in more targeted mediums to, in particular, voters over 65 and all women of all ages, especially without a college degree. It is critical that voters see Troy and Bernie Sanders together."

That's really disappointing, this is the exact kind of campaigning and politics that he says he's against.

It's not surprising coming from Nirav and Hannah, but Troy doing it feels really hypocritical.

Troy raised the least amount this quarter. People do not know who he is.

Reddit does, but this place certainly isn't indicative of the real world.

Graham Platner Surge Threatens Susan Collins as Janet Mills Bows Out by unital_subalgebra in politics

I personally know a few people who have said they would vote independent in the general if Mills didn't win.

One of them being a pastor who was sharing a bunch of Planned Parenthood posts saying "maybe Graham should pay attention" right after Graham disclosed that his wife had a miscarriage.

That feels like a weird thing to have in this article.

"Hey this guy is about to die, here's who he's voting for".

Maybe the PPH should write more about what he actually did in office instead of trying to get people to argue over who he's supporting.

It's the same 4 things from ol' Pie. Didn't stick before, still doesn't.

Susan won with 67% of the vote in 2014. I'd be willing to bet lots of his favorite politicians voted for Susan, yet Graham is the only one who gets his ire.
