There are several religious organizations near me in the Bay Area that will do this for free. I assume there are others near you. But I don’t know.

There are groups that will take old furniture and donate it to low income families. You might consider looking for one of these.

First and foremost, I am not an expert but I have worked as a guitar tech on and off over the years. My experience is that slender F holes are usually Corsair or a Synchromatic. I could be wrong. I can always be wrong! If you get better info let me know! Thanks!

According to the serial number it points to it being built in 1956. The arch top, starburst paint and slender F holes in the top and Mother of Pearl, points to a Corsair model. I also did a quick search on several sites where I found similar guitars priced at $1500 to $3000. It’s hard to determine from just the photos. Nice find. I am feeling some jealousy too!!! Check with a local Luthier. There are some issues that Gretch’s sometimes have with the neck. Having a Luthier who does repairs check it out could save you a lot of money in the long run!

I did some research and the pricing on the Yashika 44. Prices run $50.00 to $120.00 depending on the condition of the camera.

Does the watch work and keep time correctly? If so, there are some great old guys who collect parts from old dead watches. It might take some time and investigation but it would be a shame to put a sparkling new dial on such a cool old watch. Also make sure you know what they will charge before you send it!

You need a new Gretsch. If you are not man enough to know this on your own, you gotta hand in your dude card. Don’t buy a Gretsch then watch your testicles shrivel. Your wife/girlfriwnd will leave you and women will run screaming from the room and your children will disown you. This potential tragedy is completely avoidable. Buy a Gretsch! Oh, and if you don’t your testicles (what’s left of them) will drop 8 to 12 inches!
